In spite of excluding cargo Boeing 747 from IranAir fleet, IranAir has continued its activities in offering carrying services. Applying good policies in using the cargo space of aircrafts and signing contracts with cargo carriers as hired aircrafts, this organization has managed successfully to satisfy the customers and get the appropriate and remarkable benefits.

It is worth mentioning that the weekly schedule of freighters is still going on and in case of any increase in demand (Such as Hadj ceremonies) uses freighters as charters. In 2000, about 40 tonnes of cargo was carried by IranAir and IranAir Tours through domestic and international flights.
